San Pablo has a mixed tide. The two high (or low) tides of a day can be very different, and some days show only one high and one low. This is normal here, not an error: the daily (diurnal) part of the tide is strong compared with the twice-daily part. Why some places have one tide a day.
Solunar periods: the moon overhead or underfoot (major, about 2 h) and moonrise or moonset (minor, about 1 h). Fish often feed more around these times, especially when they match a tide change. How the moon affects tides.

These places use the same tide station as San Pablo: Richmond.
Calculated by Marinalo from the Richmond Inner Harbor tide station, 5.9 km from San Pablo: tide prediction offsets published by NOAA CO-OPS (public domain), applied to a NOAA reference station. Heights above Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW), the US chart datum. Times in local time (America/Los_Angeles), daylight saving included. Place names: GeoNames, CC BY 4.0. Astronomical tides only: wind and air pressure can change the water level. Not for navigation: check NOAA Tides & Currents before going out. How we calculate tides.
